LHH is partnering with a financial services firm to search for a temporary to hire Senior Accountant for their team. You will be handling financial reporting, month end close, reconciliations, and oversight of AP/AR. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of progressive accounting experience and be comfortable communicating with others. This position is fully onsite in the Tacoma, WA office but there is free parking. You will have the opportunity to grow with the organization as it increases their investments. Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable and receivable.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring all audit requirements are met.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparation and filing of tax returns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Employment Details

• Temporary to hire.
• Fully onsite in Tacoma, WA.
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
