Entry/Junior Embedded Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and development of embedded and PC applications, ensuring compliance with internal standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Support the evolution of existing software systems by integrating new features and improving current architectures.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to help develop new target platforms and troubleshoot complex hardware/software interactions.
• Utilize industry-standard debugging tools and techniques, including in-circuit microprocessor emulators, for software integration, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 0-2 years of industry experience in embedded software development or a related field.
• Practical experience in embedded software development, specifically using C and C++.
• Proficiency with debugging software, including tools like software debuggers and in-circuit microprocessor emulators, to solve development challenges.
• A proactive, self-driven individual with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, with the ability to tackle complex software and hardware integration issues.
• Solid organizational and analytical skills, with a strong commitment to producing high-quality software.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software development processes, configuration management tools, and production control practices.
• Capable of meeting deadlines, managing time efficiently, and following through on project commitments.
