Location: San Francisco, CA OR Irvine, CA (Hybrid) Duration: 06 months contract Job Description: We are looking for a passionate Localization Program Manager with native Arabic proficiency to join our team for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting an initiative for the MENA region, working closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Product, Marketing, Creative, and Customer Trust. Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize Right-to-Left (RTL) support, identify and resolve internationalization issues relating to the Arabic language. Update and maintain the terminology base and Arabic language Style Guide. Oversee the translation and linguistic QA processes to ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness, fixing issues as they are reported. Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Product, Marketing, Creative, Customer Trust, and Partnerships. Educate internal teams and stakeholders on MENA-specific considerations. Qualifications: 5+ years of localization project/program management and/or translation experience. Native in verbal and written Arabic as well as an understanding of the Saudi Arabia market and cultural sensitivities. Experience managing stakeholders and cross-organizational dependencies. Experience managing localization vendors as it relates to translation and localization QA. Experience in video games and/or localization sectors, be it on the client or vendor side.
