Are you a self-motivated sales professional with a passion for automotive excellence? Parts Authority, a leading national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools, and equipment, is looking for a dynamic Territory Sales Manager to join our rapidly growing team. Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Long Island, NY, we’ve expanded to over 300 locations nationwide—and we’re just getting started.

In this role, you’ll work directly with our Director of Sales to push boundaries, build strong customer relationships, and take ownership of your sales success. This is not a management role—this is your chance to shine as an individual contributor in a competitive, high-energy environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Your Success: Set your personal sales goals, track your performance, and exceed targets while collaborating with a supportive team.
  • Grow the Business: Identify opportunities to expand our customer base and enhance our market presence. From prospecting new clients to nurturing existing relationships, you’ll be at the heart of our growth.
  • Solve Problems, Make an Impact: Address customer concerns independently, delivering creative and effective solutions that build trust and loyalty.
  • Be a Strategic Partner: Collaborate with sales team members to share insights, refine strategies, and stay ahead in the competitive automotive market.
  • Analyze and Optimize: Leverage data to uncover growth opportunities and continually improve your approach to achieving results.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience Matters: At least 5 years of sales experience in a competitive market, with a focus on wholesale auto parts or the aftermarket industry.
  • Proven Success: A track record of prospecting, closing sales, and engaging with a diverse customer base, including installers, fleets, municipalities, and dealerships.
  • Communication Pro: Stellar negotiation and interpersonal skills to connect with customers and collaborate effectively with the team.
  • Self-Starter: Highly organized with excellent time management skills, ready to act and operate independently to meet objectives.
  • Knowledge & Tech Savvy: Automotive know-how is a plus, along with proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
