Nuovo Photography is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Strategist to join Nuovo’s marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes pop culture, stays ahead of social media trends, and has a deep understanding of the ever-evolving social media landscape. The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for ideating, developing, and executing compelling content tailored to Nuovo’s brand messaging.

As part of a fast-growing, woman-led company committed to empowering individuals through photography, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our promotional content resonates deeply with our audience; driving engagement and delivering impactful campaigns that go viral.

• Content Ideation: Develop fresh, innovative ideas that align with our social media strategy and campaign goals.
• Optimization for Social Platforms: Tailor and optimize content for each platform (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) to maximize reach, engagement, and shareability.
• Content Editing: Collaborate with the marketing team to assist in editing videos or copy, ensuring all content aligns with our brand identity.
• Scheduling & Publishing: Manage and maintain a content calendar (using tools like Hootsuite) to ensure a consistent and timely posting schedule.
• Trend Analysis: Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and emerging channels to keep our brand’s content fresh and relevant.
• Performance Tracking: Use analytics tools to measure the success of campaigns, identifying insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong copywriting skills in both English and French, Spanish is considered an asset.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in social media and marketing/branding experience.
• Strong creative skills, with the ability to bring brands to life across a variety of platforms
• Ability to analyze social media insights and develop effective strategies.
• Experience with HootSuite, CapCut, Monday, Google Suite, etc.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing or related area of study, or equivalent experience.
