Salary: $200,000 - $275,000 per year

Well-Funded, venture backed startup is hiring for a Senior Protocol Engineer! This startup is partnered with big names in the crypto space and is a core contributor to their Solana liquidity aggregator and a mobile trading app used by currently used by 1/2 a million users. In this role you work will primarily focus around writing low-latency software that optimizes cryptocurrency trade execution and power the core of billions of dollars in trading volume on the Solana network.

Job Details
Requirements
5 years of software engineering experience
Strong systems engineering experience Rust, preferably at a crypto, FAANG, or fintech shop
Strong software architecture and design skills, including the ability to weigh tradeoffs between various approaches
Strong understanding of networks, communication protocols, and distributed systems
Strong communication skills, and the ability to participate productively in technical discussions
Experience with distributed systems, operating systems
Understand compiler design, and features of modern compilers (e.g. Hindley-Milner type systems)
Interest in DeFi and open source contributions
