The Raytheon Financial Planning and Analysis department has an opening on the Investments & Integration team as the lead for New Business Investment (NBI) and Long-Range Planning (LRP) team which provides the opportunity to see the business from a top-down perspective. This position will enable the individual selected to have a more holistic view of how the LRP shapes Raytheon's investment decisions, as well as the inner workings of NBI. Candidates will have the opportunity to work with many levels of management and will be challenged to develop new and value-added reports & analysis on an ad-hoc basis. The position requires that the candidate be self-motivated but there will be strong mentoring and coaching to develop the individual. This position will be a Salary Grade P2 Sr. Analyst , FP&A and is currently designated as fully remote . However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Partner with R&C and coordinate with SBUs for the successful management and execution of Raytheon NBI.

  • Establish best practices and consistent reporting across Raytheon NBI.

  • Consolidate & Analyze LRP investment submittals to make recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Development of investment presentations for senior level management.

  • ERPM funding request review and approvals for color of money compliance.

  • Training, coaching and day to day tasking for the NBI execution analyst.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and less than 2 years' of experience. In the absence of a degree, 10 years of highly relevant experience will be considered.

  • Experience with one or more of the following Finance Business Systems: APEX, PRISM, Analysis for Office, Rplan.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MS Office Suite, Power BI and strong Excel Skills including Power Query.

  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful analysis.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Energetic self-starter with strong organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface with various stakeholders (Accounting, Engineering, FP&A, Rates & Budgets, SBUs, etc.).

  • Familiarity with disclosure statements and Cost Accounting Standards.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
