Job Description

The**Quality Engineer** is responsible for supporting assigned customers to ensure best-in-class quality for printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) products. This role focuses on optimizing efficiency and minimizing defect rates while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary quality support contact for assigned customers.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards for PCBA products throughout production and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including reports, procedures, and inspection protocols.
• Analyze defect trends and provide recommendations for reducing defect rates.
• Participate in customer audits and meetings to address quality-related concerns.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for PCB quality management.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in PCB quality engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes and quality assurance practices.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Experience with quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, or related certifications.
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and statistical analysis tools.

Salary info:

$35 - $50 / hr
