Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience in Test and Defect Management and Manual Testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the ISV and Hi-Tech domains. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to our projects effectively during day shifts. No travel is required.
Responsibilities - Lead the testing efforts for various projects within the ISV and Hi-Tech domains.
- Oversee the defect management process to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Provide comprehensive manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software products.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality testing outcomes.
- Develop and maintain test plans test cases and test scripts.
- Execute test cases and document results to ensure software meets specifications.
- Identify report and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Participate in project meetings to provide input on testing timelines and deliverables.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure their needs are met.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in testing and defect management.
- Ensure that all testing activities are completed within the project timelines and budget.
Qualifications - Possess strong experience in Test and Defect Management.
- Have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Demonstrate expertise in the ISV and Hi-Tech domains.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Show proficiency in using testing tools and defect management software.
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Be detail-oriented and capable of working independently.
- Display a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Maintain a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies.
- Have a strong understanding of software development life cycles.
