We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to join our team in supporting critical operations for a leading defense contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the functionality of our facility’s systems, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for our team. You will play a key role in supporting a wide range of facility operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, while working closely with our engineering and operations teams to meet the high standards expected in the defense industry. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As Principal Maintenance Technician for General Dynamics Mission Systems , you will become a member of a cross functional team responsible for supporting Infrastructure and Facility operations. As a key member of the Facilities team, you will regularly perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to support the daily business operation. You will have daily interaction with the facilities team, contractors, and business employees ensuring a team-based approach to supporting facility needs You will work on a variety of tasks including repair and maintenance on: HVAC Chillers, Boilers, Air Handlers, BMS Systems, Electrical distribution systems, Pneumatic supply and distribution systems, and Plumbing Systems.
