Position Summary Huron’s Healthcare Technology Services Group (HTSG) works with healthcare organizations to solve their most complex EHR challenges, so we are constantly searching for skilled technical consultants to help our clients maximize their technology investments. As a Senior Hourly Consultant, you will partner with healthcare clients, IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure the effective use of their Epic EHR system. You will assess, identify and provide solutions during implementation and optimization to improve efficiency and user satisfaction. As the technical expert, you will provide guidance on workflows, upgrades, system changes and ongoing maintenance while identifying opportunities for system optimization and enhancements within Epic's Access & Revenue modules. Qualifications As a Senior Hourly Consultant, you will partner with healthcare clients, IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure the effective use of their Epic EHR system. You will assess, identify and provide solutions during implementation and optimization to improve efficiency and user satisfaction. As the technical expert, you will provide guidance on workflows, upgrades, system changes and ongoing maintenance while identifying opportunities for system optimization and enhancements within Epic's Access & Revenue modules. Requirements Must be certified in at least one of the following Epic Applications: Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, Registration, Scheduling Referrals, Care Everywhere, Resolute, Professional Billing, Hospital Billion, HIM, Welcome, Kiosk A minimum of 3 years’ experience implementing Epic systems in hospitals and health systems performing testing, configuration and validation to ensure functionality and data integrity Project management skills with the ability to manage tasks and deadlines Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for system configurations, processes, and training Skilled in the design and delivery of training programs for healthcare providers and staff on the use of Epic Willingness and ability to travel weekly (typically Monday through Thursday) when necessary; however, at times you are required to provide high-level services remotely Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations. Current permanent U.S. Work authorization required. Preferred: Undergraduate Degree (e.g. BA, BS) Advanced reporting experience (Dashboard and Reporting Workbench) Previous consulting experience The estimated base hourly rate for Epic Senior Consultants varies based on experience, project engagement and client expectations. The actual rate paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This position is eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
