Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling high quality personal protective equipment to distributors, partners, and assigned customers in a competitive market against established vendors. Must be willing to prospect and find new opportunities, service and grow existing customer accounts, and have strong closing skills. The inside sales representative must be a highly motivated, team-oriented individual with a desire for high personal achievement. We are looking for a competitive learner who can take direction, be flexible, and who works well in a fast-paced environment. Previous sales experience, negotiating, closing, or account management is helpful.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Make outbound sales calls to generate new business from new and existing customers in assigned channel(s).
  • Answering inbound customer calls, assisting, and/or directing them to the appropriate sales representative.
  • Assist in managing the sales process of entering orders, providing pricing, order tracking and complaint resolution.
  • This role will include heavy call and email volume.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE & OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in a phone sales environment.
  • Microsoft Office proficient.
  • Excellent phone skills/ etiquette.
  • Assertive and experienced in conflict resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Prophet 21 is a plus.
  • Proficiency with a customer record manager like Salesforce or Tour de Force.
  • Territory/account management skills.
  • Willingness to travel 4-5 times annually.
