Brown & Brown is seeking an FSA Billing Administrator to join our growing team in Syracuse, NY .

The FSA Billing Administrator is responsible for maintaining a fast-growing division of the agency that offers additional services to current valued clients. Those services include consolidated billing, FSA/HRA administration, and annual benefit statements and enrollment processing. This role involves direct interaction with clients, ensuring seamless support and service delivery.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Produce COBRA letters for those groups we have agreement to handle the COBRA notification process.
  • Produce billings, reconcile payments, invoice clients and maintain billing records for all COBRA participants.
  • Produce COBRA report and payout to client for all COBRA monies received in the previous month.
  • Administer Flexible Spending Accounts, including un-reimbursed medical and dependent care accounts. Duties include process payroll deductions, claim adjudications, produce claim payments, yearend forfeitures and provide management reports.
  • Produce and send quarterly reports on FSA utilization to clients.
  • Process member FSA applications, which includes reviewing for accuracy and verifying successful completion.
  • Answer overflow of phone calls to the agency as needed. Handle as appropriate all incoming calls to agency.
  • Process all incoming enrollments for current clients accurately and timely.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Self-motivated
  • Two years’ experience in an office environment. (Preferred)

Pay Range

$21.63 - $24.04 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
