Fiber Network Technician
Location: Monroe, NC (Must live within 1-hour commute)
Pay: $20 - $28/hr
Full-Time | 40 hrs/week | Rotating On-Call Shifts (Some Weekend Work Required)

Are you looking for a hands-on career where you can help keep communities connected? We’re seeking a Fiber Technician to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and repairing fiber optic networks.

What You’ll Do:
-Troubleshoot and repair buried fiber optic cables
-Locate, dig, and restore areas after identifying cable issues
-Splice and replace damaged fiber optic lines
-Provide excellent customer service while reviewing work with clients
-Work in various outdoor conditions and ensure a safe work environment
-Communicate with dispatch and supervisors on work progress

What We’re Looking For:
-1+ year of experience in the telecommunications industry
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 2 years of driving experience)
-Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights up to 3 feet above ground
-Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
-Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
-Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
