WHAT CAN RELIAS OFFER YOU?

Full time, paid internship! Running Tuesday, May 27th to Friday, August 1st, 2025. All internships are project based and report to a Relias People Manager. Do you enjoy solving challenging technical problems and working on cutting-edge AI projects? If so, spend a summer working with the Data & Generative AI department at Relias. You will contribute to advancing the Relias AI Assistant by implementing AI agents capable of autonomously performing user actions and acting as a natural language interface. You'll gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technologies and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Relias's product offerings.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Build and enhance the Relias AI Assistant by developing AI agent functionalities beyond Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI agents into Relias's ecosystem.
• Work with large language models (LLMs) and frameworks such as LangChain to enable autonomous actions for the assistant.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code using best practices.
• Design and implement APIs using FastAPI and Pydantic to support the assistant's functionalities.
• Research and experiment with innovative techniques to improve user interactions and system performance.

YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:

• Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Coursework or projects demonstrating expertise in Python and AI-related concepts.
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning techniques.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Knowledge of AI principles, including LLMs and AI agents.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaborativel

IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE :

• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, FastAPI, and Pydantic.
• Familiarity with building APIs and working in Agile environments.
• Exposure to implementing AI systems in real-world applications.
