The Corporate Financial Accountant is responsible for day to day operations of Rose business entities. This role is responsible for monthly bank recs, accrual, and non-standard journal entries as required by the business. Also responsible for assisting with consolidation reporting of Rose and other ownership entities.
The pay range for this position is $80-90k based upon factors including but not limited to related experience and time in the industry.
Essential Functions
Prepares monthly bank reconciliations.
Reviews intercompany accounts to ensure both sides are booked property/reconciled.
Analyzes and maintains General Ledger accounts.
Prepares and posts the corporate recurring journal entries.
Prepares monthly accruals.
Initiates and posts corporate wires and account transfers.
Prepares and analyzes financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
Manages/fund Capital Calls/Distributions and prepares journal entries to record.
Reviews intercompany billing cash receipts postings for assigned entities.
Assists in other areas of corporate accounting and special projects as required.
Assists/prepares year-end audit activity.
Prepares and reviews monthly/quarterly reporting for assigned entities
Work Experience/Skills
Advanced knowledge of general accounting principles and processed required.
Analytical background with detail-oriented mindset required.
Ability to perform quality assurance reviews required.
Knowledge of accounting software systems. Yardi experience preferred.
Knowledge of Job Costing, preferred.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time to meet deadlines.
Education Requirements and/or Years of Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
3-5 years of experience in public accounting and/or real estate accounting preferred.
CPA or CPA track preferred.
Proven experience as a financial accountant, preferably in a corporate setting.
