Overview:
The successful Aerial Lineman candidates must have knowledge of aerial cable installation procedures and techniques. The candidates should be leaders both in the field and in the office and should embody our company values. We're not looking for heroes or loners, but TEAMMATES that want to share in the future success of our business. You're welcome to bring your own Ground Hand or other potential employees if they are interested.



Responsibilities:

• Install, upgrade and repair aerial telecommunications cable
• Ensures all installation work is done according to quality standards
• Responsible for completing work orders and acquiring necessary sign-offs
• Assists with overflow work as needed
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Strictly adheres to company safety policies for vehicles, equipment, etc.
• Ability to travel when required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years in aerial construction (fiber and coax)
• Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• May be required to work long and unpredictable hours in all types of weather
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle check and drug test
• The ability to follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing
• Splicing of active & passive equipment would be a big plus (preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
• Ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck and work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet
• Ability to perform all duties in telecommunications construction (such as; pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction)
• Ability to set up & maintain safe work areas, with or without supervision
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. as needed with or without assistance
